Beirut mall project (design and supervision)

A commercial building that is 60,000m2 composed of four basements, one ground floor, and five upper floors. The lower basement of the building is at 16m below the water table. A diaphragm wall of 60cm RC with tie back anchors is used as an earth retaining structure to protect the boundaries in the temporary phase, and to support, in the final phase, the lateral earth pressure and the vertical loads from the subterranean floors and the ground floor structures. The seismic resistant system consists of two-way ductile frames supporting a slab system constituted by precast pre tensioned hollow core elements topped by a 10cm cast in situ RC slab.

Mkalles 2001 (design and supervision)

A commercial building that is 60,000m2 composed of six basements, one ground floor, and five upper floors. The slab system, constituted by precast pre tensioned joists and an 8cm topping slab, is supported by a two way frame system.

Samaya (design and supervision)

A recreational and commercial center that is 60,000m2 composed of three large basements, a ground floor, and six separated blocks. RC waffle slab is used in the subterranean floors and solid slab with or without hollow concrete blocks in the upper floors.

Solemar II (design and supervision)

A recreational and commercial building that is 20,000m2 composed of three large basements a ground and first floor podium, and ten upper floors. RC waffle slab is used in the subterranean floors and solid slab with or without hollow concrete blocks in the upper floors.
