Earth retaining structures and other special projects

  1. The multiple shoring systems designed include diaphragm walls, contiguous or secant piles with or without a shotcrete overlay, and grouted high strength steel tendon tie back anchors to ensure their stability in the temporary phase.
  2. Tripoli coastal sewer line: Due to the high water table level this project consisted in self sinking cylindrical shafts and cast in situ base slab connected to the shaft walls by post anchored bars to resist the floating forces. The shaft wall is designed to support the high lateral forces resulting from the use of the micro-tunneling procedure in the installation of the underground sewer line.
